I have been seeing this name around more and more, I think maybe because it's free. I use it on kndhosting and I have to admit it's not that bad. I have read on their forum that they are going to me making the software open source.

It's a real pity that development has frozen. Their last release was 2013-06-11. BoxBilling could have been a fantastic alternative to WHMCS for smaller webhosts.

I do agree they could have been really good, but instead they settle on mediocre.

A friend of mine who recently got his own hosting setup is using BoxBilling. He seems to be happy with it so far as a viable alternative to WHMCS.

I use it for mine but looking to move to WHMCS, BoxBilling is nice but it does lack in some areas.

The free version of Boxbilling has a five product limit, and a couple other limitations like that, number of staff, number of promotion coupons. etc.

It's a nice looking and acting control panel, Just unfortunate that development seems to have stopped.

Perhaps they should open source it.. :D

They posted last year that they were going to make it open source and nothing was said since then.

I think it will soon but not for a while though.

Does anyone know what the difference is in the paid version?
