Making a user an admin on vps?

Maybe you should start writing a few FAQs for beginners as you learn SSH? I know that I've still got a lot to learn here and I always have to refer back to websites that I've bookmarked.

I am the same way, I'm good for certain things like changing passwords but others I need to go back and look.
