What do you think are the pros and cons to shared hosting?

Is it common to have a VPS server under the hosts domain name and not your own. Meaning  it something like server.hosts.com instead of server.host-hunters.com? I have always thought that is was to be under your domain name and not the host.

I have heard that Wordpress is he easiest to make themes for, but I think IPB and Xenforo are much easier.

So I finally got the invite into Google domains, which is in beta right now. I was wondering who else has tried them. I haven't yet only because they want $12.00 a domain name.

I was thinking about making a webpage in bootstrap to get used to it, any have any tuts available?

I know many of you know this already but Xenforo released a stable version of 1.4 the other day. I will not be upgraded anytime soon though. I have to make sure that all addons work especially the directory before doing so. Just wanted to let you all know what has been going one.
