Allan

Are you like me and need a panel to run  vps or a site on?

rn-bryan

I don't need a panel but sometimes it is nice to just log in with the web browser I already have open, click click a few icons and be done.

If you need a free panel https://vestacp.com/ is pretty nice and reliable. I've had an installation running here at the house on a debian machine with a few test websites for almost two years now without a hitch.

I have used them in the past as well and the setup is really easy.

Yah, VestaCP is an overall easier install than even cPanel. There isn't much to configure once it's up.

Most of the configuration to the individual services of the web server will have to be done in the services conf files.

As for making domains, emails, ftp accounts, dns settings, etc typical front end cPanel stuff VestaCP has it all.

There are MRTG type graphs for CPU, memory, network, etc on the admin side of the VestaCP.

I have tried a couple and I liked centos web panel a lot as well.

I still like cPanel - I guess since I've been using it since 2009 to now.

@SenseiSteve I agree with you completely, I have used cpanel for so long and I like how easy it is to do anything.

You honestly cannot go wrong with Cpanel at this point in time. It's works great for me on the admin side and thus likely going to be great for my clients. :)
