Even though google has changed the way they index pages, do you still use keywords?
Yes, still it's working but don't spam :)
I thought that as well, I try to keep them limited in my posts.
You mean meta keywords? No, I don't use them. I think they are useless, aren't they?
I know google doesn't use them any more but other search still do.
I do use keywords for building backlinks only. They help to get me ranks in search engines.
I use them as well, I figure it won't hurt to have them.
I still use long tail keywords, but pay more attention to tags.
I do the same with the tags, although I seem to always forget them here lol
I think tags are a good idea. We were ranking quite well for "Free Blesta" when we were offering it free with our reseller plans (before we switched to offering BillingServ).
Yeah, The Keywords work as a long connecting bridge between you and your prospects. It is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of SEO. I would recommend spending most of your time finding the right ones to target and not just pick one randomly based on assumptions.
