Who was your first host?

Just something I have been thinking about sitting here, my first host was https://www.USHost247.com and I had no complaints.

HostBig.com. For some reason my Joomla installation constantly crashed with database errors. Not sure why.

It was UK2 a Reseller Account! Loved the speed of the servers until they went downhill and the server kept crashing! But that was about 5 years ago.

I have hosts that has happened to as well, sucks for the clients.

Yes it does, because you have to keep moving them! I prefer to have a VPS or a dedicated server so this doesn't happen! If the budget permits.

Xoom sounds so familiar, I also remember Geocities. Wow that was a long time ago.

I still have a 386 cpu/motherboard and an 8088 cpu/motherboard in storage. Relics!

That is a relic , I have some older PC's in a closet but not that old.

Tripod was my first free host. Funny thing is the site is still up and running .

Host Ultra was my first paid host. This host is no longer around.

My first website host was Intec, which is no longer in business. At the time, their site was designed on FrontPage and their email servers were 386's.

Mine was vanguard-hosting, they were reseller of micfo.com, my first hosting was fly over host which disappeared within a year.
